Just received a BEAUTIFUL hand painted envie from Nickie.
It is absolutely stunning. Thank you so much. I love this swap. It’s pretty much the only one I do this time of year.
Can’t wait for next month Thanks Kwailin for hosting.

Trina, Hope jack will be ok. He's so lucky to have a mama as attentive and loving as you are. <3
As for me...I had been keeping an eye on my porch babies. (Bird's Nest) A few days ago I was thinking that they maybe flying any day now because they were feathery and the nest was getting too small for mama and babies. ...A day after that, I saw a squirrel about to jump from the fence to my porch. It never does that. So, I sorta walked closer to it to deter it from wanting to entering the porch area. It sauntered off along the top of the fence. Then...I had gotten too busy to go into the backyard for a couple of days...When I went out there again...no babies...no mama...I don't know if they learned to fly or were eaten. Gah, I hate cliff hangers!
My kids were saying...aren't squirrels vegetarian? I looked it up. I read somewhere that they are opportunist and would eat the birds. So yeah...don't know what happened.

Oh, on the bright side...I went to a movie for the first time since before "Rona." We have a new movie theater in our mall now. Geez it was so fancy. The whole theater had electric recliner chairs! The seat was super duper wide too. It was a bit slippery...I couldn't keep my tush still!! LOL! My kids were in full recline...nearly laying down...one of them even brought a blanket...which I thought was crazy...but there were other people doing the same!! Me being semi ancient...could not barely feel normal or comfortable in a reclining position. I only let my feet up a little so that I wouldn't slide off the whole dang thing! ROFL! Anyways, we saw Guardians of the Galaxy. If you are super hero fans...the movie was really good thumbs up!

Mel, I truly hope your porch babies weren't another critter's lunch. They do learn to fly fast, but you probably would have seen them attempting flight.
Your theater experience sounds great! I rarely go out to movies, but many theaters around here have upgraded to the reclining seats. Some will even bring food (and wine) to you! A few weeks back, my sister and I went to see The Big Lebowski on the big screen. It was playing for a short while as a 25-year celebration. Sadly, there were only about 6 people in the entire theater, including us. We still laughed our tooshies off.

Miss Iowa, hope all is well! Glad to hear you got your postcard out
Artofmagi, I sent you Fandango's address. Thanks for your patience.
Please remember to communicate with your partner's!
Nan Glam, I kinda like when there isn't many people in the theater. Less interruptions...but I also don't mind having many people to laugh or cry along with too.

My envie went in the mail to my partner yesterday. AND I received a gorgeous envie from my partner in today's mail. How's that for luck.
Update on Jack. He's doing well, back to whatever normal is for the 20 year old guy and he's been spending some time in the sun this week. Close call for sure. He's got a follow up in about a week.
Oh, Mel, I'm so sorry to hear about the birds. I've had many birds nest in my yard over the years and I also become quite involved in their little lives. I hope they flew the nest and made their way elsewhere. That's what I'd like to think.

I'm hoping that they flew away too...I'm choosing to believe that this is the case...I've seen a lot more of that type of bird sticking around my yard. One even flew on a decoration that I have hanging on the inside of the porch. I was also standing pretty close to it...but it wasn't phased. It stayed a good long while.
Brineirkestrel, I got your Envie! I will leave an Itrader in just a moment.
What is everyone up to? Jen, did you get your water going yet? Hope so, I can't imagine having to go for too long with out water. Trina, so glad that your Jack seems to be recovering. I don't have a cat...but my neighbor's cat that is free to roam around visits my yard often. I love to see her checking things out. She was sleeping on my patio chairs which had me sneezing up a storm. I had no idea I was that allergic to cats. I've been looking on FaceBook Market place for a kitty bed/basket for her to have instead. Which I find funny cause it's not my cat!
There was another cat in the neighborhood that was so fun. I don't know who it belonged to, but they named her Bob...because...Bob cat...LOL! That cat used to walk my kids to school. It would stop at the end of the neighborhood. When the kids had walked beyond that, she would walk back into the neighborhood. Then in the afternoon, the cat was waiting there where she left them...and then walked them home! ...it also was very much like a dog...we would be in our yard and just call out, "here kitty kitty!" That cat, from several yards away,...would start meowing up a storm and run to us. We could hear her bell as well, coming from far off. ... ... I don't know what happened to that cat. Haven't seen it in a couple of years.
Ok...I yacked your heads off again. Gonna stop here...Take care!

BrinierK, just be careful opening it. I wrapped the actual Envie in craft paper...and the Envie is also made of kraft paper. (I know, not the brightest thing to do.) eek, sorry!
