Alrighty everybody, the new partner's list is up on the info page! Please remember to communicate with your partners. A good place to start is to PM your partner to say...Hey, I'm over here at this address. What's yours? Another good one is to let your partner that you sent out your Envie...and if your gonna be late...it's good to communicate about it.
OOOh! Love! My brother is visiting me in July...I should have him get me one too! That's gorgeous!

Last year we stayed at an Air BnB In Oregon. All of their mugs were from Starbucks and they were all Oregon and Washington State related. It looked hip
I don't even drink coffee but I saw the Iowa one on display at the Starbucks in my grocery store. I do drink tea and I love a big mug so I got the Iowa one, then added Arizona and California, now Hawaii. I'm surprised he could still find one in a store because it's been a few years since they came out.
They were on Kauai and he said the first Starbucks they went to didn't have any. But one in a less touristy area, Lihue, had it.
The Hawaii mug is beautiful. I have quite the collection of ‘Bucks mugs, too. A couple of the old series are broken, but I may still use them for mosaic. I’ll post a pic of some faves when I get to the cupboard. We should do a local Starbucks mug trade amongst our group.
Hmm...I drink all those things LOL! ...So, I asked my brother to pick me up the Hawaii mug and the Waikiki mug...I was thinking he'll probably get it last minute or maybe even not at all. ...Like maybe an hour later (felt like less) he texted me a picture of the two mugs LOL! He lives downtown which is just before Waikiki. He gave up having a car, because his work and everything he needs is within walking distance or easily accessible by bus. Like every where, Starbies is on every corner, so he must have had a really easy time getting them...I have some mediocre mugs that I can donate to make room for the new ones. Thank you Miss Iowa for the inspiration!
I have a bunch of succulents that i grew from 2" cuttings. I bought them last summer from a lady that has made this her side hustle on Facebook Market place. She gave my friend and I some free cuttings from her own personal plants in her yard. (She was amazingly kind and generous) We admired her succulent called "Mother of a Million Babies" ...she didn't have any for sale, so she gave us a free cutting. ... For the longest time it looked nothing like the mature plant. It looked like single little leaves...However, today I was watering my plants and noticed finally some babies!! Here's what it looks like...
So, she might not have a million babies...but maybe about a dozen or so LOL!
My friend and I also did some crafts in October with pumpkins. We took some cuttings from her succulents in her yard, that we then decorated the tops of our pumpkins with. We used hot glue! When it was time for me to toss out the pumpkins...I saved these (dead?) cuttings. Here is one of them today...
In the background you can see my growing collection of terra cotta pots! I'm trying to create (the best that I can) the pics I shared with ya'll about the abundant pots that looked like a store.
This plant here nearly died this past winter, but it's bouncing back now. It's about the size of my hand span.
Finally, I know that in my area these irises are super common...sorta boring maybe to most people here. However, it's one of my faves because it's green all year like tall ornamental grass...but when it blooms...the flowers look like they are butterflies floating above the plant. At least to me they do. My son bought me some solar lights that look like fireflies. These make this plant with the "floating butterflies" look even more magical to me. Here's what it looks like...second pic includes my solar lit mushrooms! (staring to look as lit as Vegas!! LOL!
I'm going to be in Washington and Oregon this summer ... so 2 other mugs to collect
...see what you started!
I'm nothing if not an enabler.
I just got a new computer last month, an all-in-one desktop. I haven't tried to Zoom on it yet. You can probably do it on your phone, too. Or you can teach me how to do face time on a phone?? (Android)
Back to the mugs: wouldn't it be fun if you had a b&b? Or even just guests at home? They could pick the mug they like and use it for their entire stay. Everyone would know, oh, that's Karen's mug because it's Iowa. Fewer dishes that way.
I actually do that...My son gave me a Yeti tumbler...it's burnt orange in color...(one of my favorite colors) Keeps my water cold all day. Wish my hubby and youngest son would do the same cause they use up so many cups!
I would LOVE to run my own Air B&B. I saw a couple on Youtube that I adored. Both had the concept that they filled the place with art works and vintage finds from their area...and if the guest liked something, they could purchase it. I like that its a side hustle within a side hustle!! ...and I love anything art or vintage/thrift related.
