Wonderful, Terri F! Thank you.
I am near certain that both you and CiCiCreates were in this swap the last time I hosted it -- In Oct 2012!

Sorry, I didn’t join AFA until 2015. But I think I did a bookmark swap hosted by BexMadeMe sometime after that. I love bookmarks (especially artist-made ones), I have a whole envelope of them in my bookcase!

Thanks for the invitation. I would like to join. I always have 3 or 4 books that I'm reading simultaneously, so I know that nice bookmarks will be used.

Welcome, wildholly, zhouzhou, and jo.on.the.go! I am really happy to have each of you.
For all: Tell us the book(s) you are currently reading!
I am nearing the end of Little Bee by Chris Cleave (2008) and it has been excellent. My book club is reading Oona Out of Order, which I have also enjoyed. It's quirky.

I just finished re-reading Mists of Avalon, a story about King Arthur, told mostly from the point of view of his half -sister Morgaine. I am a big fan of King Arthur stories. I first read this book perhaps 30 years ago. My kids always say, "Mom, why do you keep reading stories about King Arthur? You know how it will turn out!"
I am currently reading Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn. It is a historical novel based on the life of a woman sniper for Russia, fighting against the Germans during WW II.

I am currently reading, Bad Girl Creek by Jo-Ann Mapson. I love this book! The setting, a flower farm in California, follows four women's lives. Heart, wit, and lots of grit!

Thank you for the invitation - I'll lurk. I get very anxious when I join an HD/HP swap, since I mostly do collage. I'll see if I can make something I'm happy with, before I commit.

I’d like to play locatray.
I enjoy art tucked in a book page.
I’m reading ‘The Creative Act: a Way of Being’ by Rick Rubin. It’s been a fast read and reminds me of Julia Cameron’s writings and Elizabeth Gilbert’s ‘Big Magic’. Rick Rubin has a matter of fact tone and style that’s easy to read.
I picked up 7 watercolor books from the downtown public library yesterday!
I also enjoy reading and audio books on Libby but I won’t need bookmarks for those.

Terri F, I have not read Where the Crawdads Sing but I love fiction that includes naturalist themes. I recently finished a collection of short stories by Barbara Kingsolver and have Demon Copperhead on the bookshelf ready to crack open and start. I’ve love all of her characters and settings.
