Im in! I love watercolors! Just to clarify, I understand that there is no bulky or heavy embellishments. Is it OK if I usebbother embellishments like rubberstamp or using colored pencil or pen to draw on the watercolor? Perhaps tear my watercolor and then collage it on the bookmark? Or do you want straight watercolor only? Either way is fine. I just want to make sure im playing along correctly. Thanks!!!
Yay! Welcome, Bookwork Becky! I will add you, Tafkabecky!
What you describe sounds just fine. I just mean when we put heavy, bulky embellishments on the bookmarks, they're not flat to send in a business envelope. Nothing that sticks up/ raises the plane. Happy creating!

Clarification: Ink, stamps, markers, paint pens, colored pencils, etc to enhance or detail your watercolor is fine for this swap. So long as it's flat and uses watercolor paint, you're good!

Are you expecting that we use a single piece of watercolor paper or should we back it with a second?
I am again participating in the library summer reading program-Beanstalk-which is just a continuation of my normal reading. I am a big fan of CJ Box and I'm currently reading his newest book, Storm Watch. Love me a murder mystery!
catladybj -- Most watercolor papers are heavy enough to do a single sheet. If you plan to paint watercolors on standard printer paper, then yes, please include a backing to make it stronger. Both papers are okay. I don't want anyone to feel that they can't play if they don't have proper watercolor paper. I hope this helps clarify. Thanks for a great question.

Thanks for the clarification, locatray.
I just wanted to be sure, because I've received a couple of atcs in the past couple of months that did not have proper backing, ie: single thin cardstock or paper and no backing. So I just want to make sure.
And please, go ahead and sign me up! I love bookmarks!
