How would everyone feel about making this a matchbox shrine OR matchbox fill pif? Maybe some of the shrines are a bit difficult, and can be helped by changing it into a fill?

If you don't know what a fill is - Instead of decorating the inside with items glued down that go with the "theme", you will it with small loose items. Like brads, stickers, buttons, etc. This may help if someone doesn't have items to glue down to match the theme, but have papers to match?

Example, Let's say I requested a Pink shrine. You have TONS of pink papers, but nothing cute to glue down for pink? Well, make the pink box, and then fill it with random goodies... How does that sound??????

Be patient, CCat. Sometimes there are people like me out there stalking a thread, waiting until they have time and/or sufficient examples to feel confident enough to get in on it. ^^

lol, i'm patient as far as the PIF part goes, just frustrated that i can't send out lildebi's matchbox! i've messaged her twice since the 18th and she was online yesterday and didn't reply.

ah... That's frustrating. I don't know the issue with an address, but I know that I've waited to reply to other sorts of messages until I have time to think things out and check my obligations. ^^ Good luck.

Corduroy Kat I just PM'd you my addy. I understand your frustration that I did not reply right away. But it has been hectic around here for the Holidays - Christmas and New Year, and I may have just checked in briefly to make sure I hadn't signed up for any swaps during that time that I was going to miss. Now that the Holidays are over I am sure many people like myself, are winding down, getting things back to normal and getting back into active trading. Thanks for your patience and I can't wait to see the matchbox you made me.

I will make you a Tree Shrine Corduroy Kat.

    I would like
    Valentine
    Fairy
    Butterfly

Lildebi, I will make you a Valentine Matchbook shrine. And, BTW, I know that not pm'ing your addy does not in any way stop the natural progression of the PIF thread. The next person who posts to the thread can make a commitment to the person above them, whether or not you have pm'ed your person.

These types of threads can go on indefinitely and sometimes there are long lulls in between postings for claiming art.
    So here are my wishes:

I would like one done in one of the following themes:

    daisies
    birds
    dogs

Thanks TotolyOzome! The link below has a template you can print out to make a matchbox out of card stock. However, the template for the cover needs to be a tad larger than the .33 dimension it gives. Otherwise, it will not go over the box bottom. AngelaMarieX3 posted this link on page 1 of the thread. This is the only one I found that has a pattern. Have Fun!!!
