Halloween Banner Swap - Due Oct. 6th

Bookmarks: Halloween Banner Swap - due Oct 6, 2008
    Swap Due Date - Oct 6, 2008
    Signup/withdraw date - Sept 30, 2008
    Number of Charms - 3/3 or 6/6
    Number of participants - unlimited

There just weren't enough Halloween swaps so I thought - Heck we need to have one more Attachment 12027

    * Banners need to be in my hands by Oct 6, 2008 - this is firm so I can trade out and get your banners back to you in time for Halloween!

    * last sign up/or drop date: Sept 30, 2008

    * This will be a 3 or 6 banners for 3 or 6 banners in return

    * Please include your name and screenname on the backs of your banners and please make the backs look pretty too

    * Those in the USA - Please include a self addressed labed with postage (send what it took to mail them) I will supply the envies for your returns

    * International - include a self addressed label - I will take care of return postage and envies.

    * Please Contact me if you can not make the mail by deadline.

    ************************************************** *********
    *Theme - Halloween!!!

*Media - all styles - but please send only your best.

    *Size - 6 1/4" - templet says 6 1/2 but it's closer to 6 1/4"

Click here for templet - Attachment 12134

    * please be careful on size so these are all uniform - I will need to play with the templet to it to print out at the right size

*Base - please use something sturdy - such as watercolor paper but not too stiff - matt board would be too stiff for this - you will need to be able to put eyelets for a ribbon or glue, sew, staple (your choice) the banners to a ribbon so you wouldn't want them to be too heavy.

    * And please post pics of your beauties to the thread - that's part of the fun - seeing all the wonderful bookmarks everyone makes

ooooh! please add me to both groups! i'll trade paper AND fabric ones! this is such a cool idea, gg!
I updated my available ATCs and added new art on 12/11/2017 . . . and I'll be out of town until December 19th, so if I'm slow to respond, it's nothing personal. I'm always willing to trade!

hey, why are we in "active" swaps instead of "open" swaps?

Oh my goodness. Those look like too much fun! I sadly don't think I'll have time for this though... I would love to try making these in all themes though (later), this would be a lovely decoration around the house! Great idea, goatgoddess!!

I would like to join but two questions first....
    1. How do we mail these out? what size envelope do you use??
    2. Do we had the ribbon and punch the holes or are you doing that??

Sewingbea - welcome to the swap!

GarageBandFan - I will be using the large brown envies - I will supply the return envies - but any sized envie that they will fit in will work - just be sure to place wax paper between them if you use mod podge so they don't stick together.

I will be leaving the attaching to the ribbon to the members - so you can arrange your returns in a mannor that pleases you.

I'd like to sign up if I can make fabric banners that are not backed with paper--like the Tibetan prayer flags. Would that be okay?

Oh yeah the fabric ones will be all fabric - just didn't put in outlines on them - was waiting to see if any one wanted to do them.

so yes that would be fine. Would like them the same size as shown but all fabric is perfect.
