Wink Anyone want to CJ with me?? Full

New Circle Journal Group - needing players
    NOW FULL

I would like 5 players to come join me in an open media circle journal group. I have been in groups before and really enjoyed them, and being as there are no open groups at the moment I thought I would open a new one.

I would like player to have a minimum of 15 i-trader points and 100%. This may seem harsh but a circle journal group requires a commitment of 5 months, and we need to be sure that non of the players flake.

If you are new to CJing - Before committing to play I suggest you read the rules around circle journals just to make you understand what you are signing up for.

Once I have my 5 players we can decide on what we will be called, and I will open a new thread.

When you sign up please can you let us know what theme you want your pages to be. I must insist that all players pm me their name, address and contact email and phone number.

SO - who wants to play??

    1. Lise Bu - Desserts/puddings e.g cakes, strawberries and cream etc - 2 page spread 8x8 with embellishments
    2. Ria (UK) - Friends/Friendship - 1 page only 6x6 - both sides to be equally decorated
    3. Micromummy (UK) - Olde Worlde - 2 page spread 8x8 - with embellishments
    4. Purplecat (Isle of Man) - Homes/houses - 2 page spread 8x8 - with embellishments
    5. LilyLemon (USA) - Flight - anything to do with wings, butterflies, birds, faeries etc - 2 page 8x8 - flat
    embellishments - not too chunky
    6. Luvloz - (Australia) - Cottage Gardens and/or birds - 2 page spead 8x8 - with or without embellishments - but please stick to the confines of the pages.

Hi! I would love to join in - if I may, I promise to keep pages on time!!!!!

My theme would be Friends/Friendship and I would prefer 6" x 6" pages decorated equally as nice on both sides ( so possibly only 1 page ? )

Is this a UK-only group or is that just a coincidence? I would love to join you all if you'll have me! If you'll have me, I'd love to have the theme of "Flight" (things with wings, fairies, angels, butterflies, birds, quotes about flying/soaring/letting go,flight as a meatphor for growth, etc). Two pages, 8 x 8

Oh, tell me there's still room! I've been wanting to join another group for a while now.

I would like two 8x8 pages featuring cottage gardens and/or birds. Flat pages or embellishments are both fine, but please stay within the page boundaries.

We are now full ladies - we just need to find a name for ourselves and decide on a first mailing date - I am thinking end of Jan 09 as we are all very busy with chrimbo and everything - what do you lovely ladies think??

I would love to have until the end of January. The other CJ group I'm in mails at the beginning of each month so having staggered mailing dates works for me. Also, by then there will only be two overlapping months for my two groups. I'm working ahead on the other CJ so I won't feel overwhemled when we start!

I'm hoping I figure out what "Olde worlde" means. I kinda thought I knew what it meant but I looked it up and found two definitions:

    1. "The Old World includes Europe, Asia, and Africa (collectively known as Afro-Eurasia), plus surrounding islands. The term is in distinction from the New World, meaning the Americas and Australasia."

    and

    2. "olde-worlde (British & Australian) a place that is olde-worlde looks very old or has been made to look old in a way that seems false."

I kinda thought (on my own, before looking up) that it meant Renaissance or Mideval or the perspective Europeans would have about the rest of the world during those time periods but now I'm not so sure!

That will definitely be the most challenging of the themes for me!

Lily Lemon - I think she means old fashioned/vintage - what you thought really - it is definately not the Old World the place etc.

Hi Lily Lemon, sorry to make you put your thinking cap on. I didn't think anyone would look into 'olde worlde' so deeply - I didn't. I just mean vintage really. You know - old travel, baby photos, lovely ladies in vintage dresses - that sort of thing. I'm just be pleased to be in such a lovely group.

Oh...that sounds a lot easier (and broader) than I was thinking!
