We won't talk about me having to sharpen all 132 pencils. Yikes! I did about 90 of them by hand before I broke so many points I went to the Prismacolor site and they recommended an electric sharpener. NOW they tell me!

Haha - that sound familiar dear. I've got a box like that and they break easily.
They're a bit soft but the colors are just great and I love working with them. Use them for almost all my drawings.

microwave.........
Only for a few seconds, but it works wonders. I haven't had broken prismacolours since.
BUT, do not overdo it! Otherwise you will have charcoal and a very burnt microwave. How do I know this? YUP, I've done it!

Microwave ? Ah - I've got a few old ones on the table... will try it tomorrow.
And no - after one round in the microwave, they wouldn't dare to break again... probably afraid of another microwave trip uh?
