I guess it could be ok. If my cards were to be traded, I'd like to know why. If the person I traded it to didn't like it, I'd like to know why so I could use the critcism.

I would like my card back if the person receiving it doesn't like it for some reason or another. It just doesn't feel right to picture someone else bartering for a trade using my artwork to do it. Doesn't seem to live up tp the spirit of card giving and trading. As always, that's just my take on it!

    I keep...but you don't have to...

Although I personally NEVER re-trade the ones I received...even the ones in blind swaps...(I keep them all as treasures), mine can be passed on...I love recycling of all kinds!

I'll have to educate myself here, why would you trade someone else's cards anyway?

There have been a number of 2nd generation swaps and pass arounds. A card some one received in a swap may not suit their taste. The list was started so members could let it be known if they wanted their cards back, or didn't mind them traded.

If people are going to re-trade cards that I have made, I would like to be asked about it, and if not asked, at least informed of the change in ownership, please.

    Thanks!

I don't care if my traded cards are re-traded. Go for it. Spread the joy!
It seems really weird to me that people want their cards back or want to know who they go to. I'm still new to ATCs but from what I've read on these boards, looks like everyone creates tons of cards! Do they really keep track of who they've traded to?

If art cards were being sold instead of traded, do people feel the same and want to know who/where their card goes beyond the first trade? Just curious if there is a difference - wonder if I don't care where my cards go because I'm a graphic designer and spend my days creating and letting go of my art - ATCs feel the same for me, create it, trade or sell it, let it go.

never gave it much thought... guess I don't really care... boy, that didn't come out sounding very nice.... but what I mean is, I gave it to someone... it's their's....
like a gift.... I wouldn't expect a gift I gave to someone 2 years ago to stay with then
forever.... how would we ever have or go to yard/garage sales, if things we kept forever.
now don't get nervous... I would NOT put my ATCs in an yard sale... no one would pay the price, cause to me... priceless..... but ask me in ...what... 10 - 20 years ??? who knows.... some of you gals may be really really famous.... and I got your ATC ????

Carrie, love your idea about working for trading with all 50 states! I agree Just Ducky - a gift, also good point about having a card from someone who becomes famous! May ATCs make us all famous!

Once you have one of my cards you can do with it what you want.

*BUT* - please keep in mind that you should play Stravinsky for them at least once a week, and if they don't have fresh greens in their diet then their color may fade.

If you have received my cards from a swap or a casual trade, I don't mind if you re-trade them. But if they say your username in the "Made For" section on the back, I would be a bit hurt if I knew you had gotten rid of it.
