Making my first Chunky book:
1) Theme: Enchanted Ocean- All the beautiful colors in and around the ocean. Looking for beauty, fantasy, and mystery. Examples: Giant clams, Jewel tone fish. Waves and surfers. Playful whales or dolphins. Sunken ships with sharks Rituals or bonfires on the beach. Mermaids or mermen. Lighthouses. Seals and especially otters.
2) Do: HD/HP with fabric or ribbon embellishment.
Don't: Leave the background or back undecorated.
3) Location: USA
4) Binding: Please draw or paint the background to all four edges. Will be binding on the left, so no detailed work on the left 1/2 inch. Please do any fabric or ribbon embellishment on the right side or bottom. User name, Artist Name, Country and Date on the back please.
5)Comments: This is my first time out, so if you have suggestions, please send me a PM.

5. Any other COMMENTS? Snarky cats welcomed, just not grumpy cat. I am looking for something a tiny bit more world friendly. I have 2 calico cats. If that helps. Over my lifetime, I have had all colors of cats:
tabby, ferals, orange, chocolate brown (his name was Kit Kat), blacks and whites, Himalayianns, grey, blue eyed. Not really fond of Siamese cause they are so mean.

THIRD THEME is a variation of size and substrate.
CD or DVD do you have any damaged Cds or dvds? Lets Upcycle these items and save them from the landfill. Sand them up to make things adhere.

1. Theme: SUNFLOWER
2. DO's: All mediums including phots and zentangle, mixed media, hand drawn, Dangles or not welcomed, ribbons as a dangle strongly encouraged, as light enough to mail. If they images extend past the CD/DVD base I am fine with that too.
DONT's: No jack-o-lanterns please, other fall items welcomed just not Halloween.
3. LOCATION: Please USA only unless I know you from the art-a-thons
4. BINDING. I will add my own hole with my crop-a-dile tool
5. Any other COMMENTS? Have fun with this idea, and maybe create an advertisement for your own CD chunky. Please note, It is the substrate of the CD/dvd that counts. Please dont trace a cd, actually use a real, but damaged cd/dvd

Please do add some decoration or patterned paper to the backside. AND at least add your AFA username. I want to remember the artist.
