So many times, art like these have a lot of things you see IRL that just doesn't get picked up by a camera. I know my pieces look much better IRL than what my camera captured.

My magnet tops arrived in today's mail. What a great mail day too! Going through the thread did not help in my search for two of my magnet makers. I got four magnet tops...thought I was only supposed to get three?
At any rate...Thanks to Jennie for hosting this spectacular swap! And thanks to tekamarie and Art du Junque and the other two makers. Wish I knew who that was! No pictures in the thread of these two mystery magnets. One is a small altoids tin with a peace symbol embedded in resin and the other is a metal lid off a biscuit can perhaps? with little shells and other things embedded in resin of some sort.
All of them are perfect! When I figure out who the mystery makers are, I'll leave rep points! Thanks for the wonderful additions to the magnet collection covering my fridge and the tall metal cabinet in my kitchen!

I got my package from the post office today. Two new fridgies were waiting inside from Donna (dmnh) and one unknown.
It has a large watch face with hands set to 9:00, a small key, some micro beads, a gear, brads, and a guinea feather. All set in Diamond Glaze (or equivalent) in a small tomato paste can lid. If this is your art, please let me know so I can leave your You Rock/rep points!

Well, here they are again if anyone else has any trouble spotting them in the thread:

I'm still trying to get tax paperwork together. We've had so many prescriptions and Dr bills this year and havent had kids to claim for quite a few years. But i thought after my youngest was on her own the dr bills would go down. Not so It's going to be like $8000 this year. Please someone tell me that they can trump that, so I don't pout.
