Christmas Gift Swap - Due 28th Nov

To be in your partners hands: No later than 28th Nov. Please remember it can take 2 weeks to reach some countries, so mail in plenty of time.
Amount of gifts: 1 x handmade gift or it could be 2 or more smaller handmade gifts.
Withdrawing: No Withdrawing (do not sign up if you can't commit)
Participants: Unlimited.
Sign up Date: 31st Oct
Minimum itrader: +15 with no negs or neutrals. Because of the nature of this swap it is important that I stick to these guidelines to minimise flaking.

Participants for this swap must have a minimum itrader of 15 with no neutral or negative feedback. I will assign partners as each person signs up. Make sure you fill out the profile in your sign up post. You will be making 1 x handmade gift for your partner. Match your gifts to you partners likes. Remember we are all at different levels of experience so you may be partnered with someone of a lower of higher experience level than yourself. There will be no withdrawing from this swap so please do not join if you cannot commit. If you have time you may sign up to a maximum of 3 times. You must be willing to post international and on time. Your gift total should be valued at £15 ($30) approx. Your gifts do not need to be wrapped as some countries do not accept wrapped gifts in the mail. You will be notified of your partner as soon as I can match you up with someone. If the last person who signs up by the sign up by the due date does not have a partner then I will partner them. It is up to you to contact your partner if you have any queries and to obtain their address.Your gift should not be religious based. Make sure you include you details on a card with your gift. Please check into this thread regularly so that we know what stage you are at.

Make sure you gifts are packaged properly with padding if needed or in an appropriate size box. Fill out a customs label and make sure the recipients name and address is clearly written and your return address is on the package. Please post your item at the post office and obtain a certificate of posting (if available). Post in this thread when you have mailed your gift. For anyone posting to the UK please tick the gift box on the customs label and put a total value of no more than $10 so that we don't get charged duty and VAT. For those mailing to Australia please do not send anything organic as customs will destroy it. If your country has any other regulations that I haven't listed then please include them in your sign up post.

Important rules:
1. No withdrawing
2. You may sign up a maximum of 3 times.
3. You must have an itrader of 15+ with no negatives or neutrals.
4. You must be willing to commit to this swap and make sure that your partner receives their gift by 28th Nov(I encourage people to leave negative itrader if they don't receive their gift). It's not fair on your partner if you do not mail a gift.
5. This should be your best work within your ability. Please make sure any items that are glued are glued on properly.
6. Gifts should total a value of approx £15 ($30).
7. You must be willing to post internationally.
8. You must send a gift that fits your partners profile.
9. You must inform your partner and the host (me), when your gift has been mailed. You must inform your partner and the host (me) when your gift has arrived. Please inform partners by pm and also in the thread.
10. Any problems please communicate with your partner and myself.

itrader
You will not be leaving itrader for me but you should leave itrader for the person who sends their gift to you. Please be honest with itrader. Positive - If the gift arrives on time. Neutral - If the gift was sent late, no communication. Negative - If the gift was not sent. Please try to resolve the situation before leaving a negative itrader.

Try not to open your gift before Christmas (ha,ha).

When you have opened your gifts could you please post pics of the gifts on this thread. If you don't have the equipment then not to worry.

Sometimes due to industrial action post can be delayed. If you know of any going on that might delay your package please let your partner know and post to this thread.

Ok I think you read it wrong as I said you can sign up to 3 times but must let 3 others sign up before signing up again. I'll scrap that part as quite a few of you want to do 3 and work it another way. Give me until tomorrow to work out partners as my brain can't handle that without food LOL

Any other information that might be helpful: I'm an antiques lover....1930's depression ere (my gram and mum's days) I try to collect things that spark a memory of my young childhood. I'm a doll collector, the majority are the old composition ones and antiques. The only modern day porcelain ones (6) are of Shirly Temple, another favorite icon.
