Media: Open/Any (But no massive use of stickers. Non-focal point ones are fine, but not as the main element.)
We all know that the year is 2012, and there are many theories that the world will end this year. Mayan calendar ending, solar flares and storms and all that jazz.
However….
With this swap, I challenge everyone to think OUTSIDE of the doomsday prophecies. (And use your sense of Humor!)
So…no biological disasters, environmental cataclysms, asteroid strikes, judgment day, nuclear fallout, the rebellion of machines, rouge planets, or alien invasions and that sort of stuff (not this time at least).
Instead, think of what would your world would be like if suddenly (in example):
- All Cell phone devices refused to work
- The internet permanently goes down
- There’s no more toilet paper
- GPS systems can’t find your position…at all…
- Comfort food becomes illegal
- There’s no delivery on pizza
- Coffee becomes a rare delicacy
- Chocolate ceases to exist (THE HORROR!)
- Whatever you’re dependent on, it is gone due to XYZ factor
- Cats banned together and used their power for world domination
- A mad scientist brings pokemon to life, and they create havoc on all systems
- Or whatever you think would be catastrophic whether it be on a massive global level or in your personal life.
Put your best efforts (and humor) forward, and create awesome reflections of the life as we know it without what we‘ve become so dependant on or something ridiculously silly.

- All cards must be standard 2.5 x 3.5 inches
- Please keep all cards relatively flat
- Cards must be well-constructed (please secure all elements if doing a collage)
- All Cards must be sent in plastic sleeves
- Cards MUST be originals (no copies, please)
- Include your username, Swap Name, and title on the cards. It’s hard to leave Rep (You Rock) points if we don’t know who you are. It’s also kind of cool when you do leave rep that you let the person who’s card you received, which one of their set went where.
- Submit only cards that are your best work, and would love to receive in return.
- The due date is when the cards need to be in my hands by; not a postmark date.
- Please communicate if you need to withdraw, I would HATE to leave neutral I-trader for those who do not communicate with me.
- When you’re ready to send off, Please PM me for my address (if you don’t already have it.)
- For the record, this is my first swap, and I’m overly excited about this!
- Host cards on this theme are not required, but would be loved eternally <3
