We will be making chunkies featuring the great Marie Antoinette.

It can be any image of her including the Sofia Coppola movie with Kirsten Dunst. Just be sure to make it rich, luxurious, young, and cute. It is open media, so feel free to collage, or handdraw your chunkies, but in this case layers of media can be your friend.
You can chunk it up as much as you like but the left hand edge is left "chunk-free" for binding purposes. (1/2 inch at least) If there is something obstructing that side it will get send back.
And if you have never chunkied before:
Chunky Definition: 4 X 4 art on a cardboard or other sturdy base. The front can be any medium including collage, hand-drawn, fabric, painted, etc. Some sort of "chunk" is added: gems, dangling yarn, charms, beads, found objects or other. The back is made pretty or decorated lightly because chunkies are often displayed in books.

- All mediums and techniques welcome!!! Please feel free to add fibers and small charms or danglies, or embellishments. Danglies are your friend! Be sure everything is attached property and is affixed in a safe manner with no harmful adhesives, or hardware.
- Leave the left 1/2-inch side free of any embellishments,
- All pages must be 4x4-inches square.
- Please don't leave the backs blank. Have a nice paper on the back and please have your info. on there as well. (No info. means it will be going back to you.)
Please submit your best work.
- Please use the appropriate weight paper like #140 Watercolor, or cereal boxes for your pages, as cardstock is not strong enough.
!!!!!No flimsy pages will be accepted !!!!!
Any chunkies that have too many technical errors can be returned so please just be sure to send your best.

*Please send your pages in a large manilla envelope (6 x 9 min.) or bubble envie if they are very chunky as I will be reusing them if I can and please enclose a large return address label.
US Players - Enclose LOOSE stamps/ or well concealed cash to cover the cost of your returns (the same amount as it cost to send your pages to me)
Also include a good sized address label.
International Players - I can pay the return postage.
Include address label only (unless you happen to have a couple of US dollars to include, it would be very greatly appreciated in helping send returns back.)
