Title Roaring 20's INVENTIONS #8
Description 1923 -- "Modern" Bulldozer Invented
Wooden blade "Bulldozers", powered by mules, horses, oxen, or "bulls", have been around as long as there have been farmers. The wooden blade, animal and human-powered tool, was used to move dirt and level ground for planting fields and building homes.

The "Modern" bulldozer, as we now think of it, is credited as invented by James Cummings and J. Earl McLeod in Morrowville, Kansas in 1923. They created a large, dirt-pushing blade that could attach to the front of a tractor.
