I have plenty of planned things on my table but I don't know if I can finish any of them today. I have been making furnitures to my daughter's Barbie house lately and haven't prepared anything to this a-thon.

I have surgery scheduled for the day after Christmas. Without it I would only have limited motion in my wrist and probably pain forever. So it is under the knife for me! If I owe you reps or I-traders I am slowly getting those out. Have fun doing art. I will be watching.

Jo, so sorry to hear about your wrist - wishing you a full recovery from your surgery!

Nice to see you posting to the thread, Loladog - hope you are feeling much better and maybe even get to play - I love your art!

So far I haven't had a minute to spare to play, but maybe, just maybe, today ...

I don't know how you can save wrapping paper. Our is ripped and crumpled in a ball, put in the garbage bag so fast in never has time to accumulate in to a mess. I so hope to get something made today.

Jo sorry to here of your injury, I hope you have a speedy recovery. we will all be missing you art.

Personally I don't like to working with the type of paper used in most wrapping papers. So even though it was cute, I threw mine out.

I wanted to save some of my wrapping paper, but decided not to scream out "oh save that paper!" So I let it go. It was hard. Hubby doesn't get it anyway

Wrist surgery is complete. I will be in a cast and sling for three more weeks. Doctor said that the damage was worse than expected but I should heal with most movement. In the meantime I am getting better and better at using my right hand.
Art on everybody. I would like to join you. Good art is already being posted.

Poinsettia : HD and colored with layers and layers of Indian ink pens, watercolor markers, and glittery gel pens. (Hard to photo - but very sparkly in real life.)

I'm not sure if I will be able to trade during this ATART, but I wanted to make some art and play along.

I'm in the walking wounded brigade, as I got strep throat for Christmas. Almost made it 42 years without it. :-/

    Hi, Everyone!

I hope to join you for some art-ing, later today, and in days ahead. (It's just after midnight where I am.)

Jo, I'm very sorry to hear about your injury--I hope you'll find that you feel a lot better quickly! (Let me know if you'd like to compare experiences, x-rays, etc. I'm just over 6 weeks past my own surgery for a broken wrist, also on my usual drawing arm.)

Cynthia, I hope you also feel better soon!

Note to myself, for later today: where might my colored pencils be?

After a lunch catching up with friends then dinner with daughters before driving one of them the hour each way to the airport. . . I finally had time to create. (all of it Christmas themed - does anyone else have WAY too much Christmas 'stuff'? I can't seem to resist buying more, though )
