I've made starter sets like that with similar art from an old Currier and Ives book. In my case I'm okay with people finishing them either way. I don't know if there's a rule about that.

We had a discussion about this a while back... I think the consensus generally was, if the backgrounds are the same/similar then the additions should also be the same or similar (For instance, if you decide to add a butterfly, I don't think most people would mind if the three butterflies weren't all the same colour, but you shouldn't add a butterfly to one, a toaster to the second and a lobster to the third).

And if the backgrounds were different, then it didn't matter whether the additions were the same, similar, a little different or very different. (so the whole toaster/lobster thing would be fine in this instance)

I've been catching up as well as making starters. Some of these I've had awhile, but I couldn't find the right additions for them. The Crossing Guard card I had already packaged and stamped before I realized I hadn't scanned it, so there's just one, but they're fairly identical.

Crossing Guard is CastleQueen5, Hey Maggie, and me.

The Zebra buddy card is Linda Giese and me.

The elephants are Lucy Mc, Sarah's mom, and me.

The women and lipstick are Linda Giese, Prayer at Night, and me.

And I have more to come.....
