juju - I will withdraw you but you told me that you had mailed cards on April 6. Was this incorrect or did you just forget?

sorry to have gone MIA but cards have been received from: fandanie, jo.on.the.go, Cleopatra and CastleQueen5

I will be leaving very early tomorrow morning for a 5 day retreat so will next acknowledge mail on Tuesday (my husband is still home to collect the mail)

I keep thing to withdraw from this swap and I already had. I couldn't tell you Donnacr! I don't remember sending but I'm sure if I told you I probably did. If I find them still I'll let you know. But it they aren't there by now, I'd rather withdraw. I remember picking out stamps to do them. Other then that, I don't remember. I'm sorry. Chronic headaches and other issues at times messes up the ol' brain! Thank you for understanding.

My returns arrived. Odd thing is it had RETURN TO SENDER sticker undeliverable, unable to forward, which is stupid because both addresses were mine. Some times I think the PO makes silly mistakes.

I got cards from plumhill2001, VickiZ and CSillitoe

I just found out about the neatest FREE item you can get from the post office.

Every quarter the post office publishes a catalogue featuring all of the newest stamps, plus some older ones that are sold by the post office. You can subscribe by going to the web site: usps.com/philatelic. There are pictures of the stamps, and wonderful backgrounds, and it tells when the stamps are first being offered. When I filled out the form, I saw that it has a drop down box for country, which leads me to believe that even if you don't live in the US, they will send you the catalogue.

The site also sells some cute PO-related gifts: tee shirts, a mug featuring the newest Chinese New Year image of the rat, kids' toys of PO vehicles, tote bags (there is a fantastic T rex tote bag that isn't outrageously expensive), and Christmas ornaments.

I found out about the catalogue because it was on a reading table where I now live. I am not sure when the issue was published, but it appeared recent because some of the newer stamps identified are not yet available in post offices.

All of you stamp addicts might be interested in receiving this publication.
Iím hanging out in a different tree... no longer Aspen. Now it is Beech. PM me if you need the specifics.
