    Title:Beeswax ATC or APC Swap

    Time to get out your irons, wax and supplies.

    Medium: Beeswax on ATC or Altered playing card. Use your artistic skills and feel free to use your imagination and unique style. Use napkins, papers, embellishments or whatever you can think of. Cards will be swapped based on effort.

    Requirements:
    *All card should be standard 3.5" X 2.5" and at least one layer of card stock
    *Cards should be flat
    * Send cards in plastic sleeves
    *Withdraw early if you can't do the swap, late cards may be returned if they can't be swapped out.

    Mailing and Postage:
    *PM me for my address when you are ready to send cards.
    *Make sure your user name, location and swap name appear on the back of all ATCs.
    *Include you username on your SASE.
    *International participants: Please include an address label. I will pay for postage on first 10 participants. .
    *US Participants--include a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

    Returns: When you receive your returns, please leave itrader for me and rep points for the artists.

    An extra card for the host is always appreciated but is not required.

    Add me please. I've been thinking of hosting a beeswax swap but may be having uncertain vision for a couple of months. this way I get to do it and get returns but the work is all yours!
    I'm having the first cataract surgery the next Monday. then my glassses will not match my eyes.

    Lurking...have never done beeswax before. Will have to peruse the Internet and see if I think I can do this.

    I was all athoned out and missed the recent APC athon so I would love to sign up for this one. Do you mind if I use some of the new Christmas napkins I have been finding in the shops?

    Thanks for the invite Sara, count me in please. Question is it ok to add an image with rubberstamps or a glued on image if we don't want it to get the transparent quality it gets when waxed?
     
    Linda4atc-I am thrilled you have joined. Yes! Yes! I like your idea of adding an image. So many creative ideas.

    Can't wait to see some of the pieces everyone is doing.
