    Who knew November could be so weird?

    Some examples: You can celebrate World Jellyfish Day (Nov. 3), Marooned Without a Compass Day (Nov. 6), National Button Day (Nov. 16) or Pumpkin Pie Day (Nov. 21). How about Turtle Adoption Day (Nov. 27), No-Shave November (the whole month) or Geography Awareness Week (week of Nov. 17)?

    Check out the list of bizarre October holidays on Checkiday (my personal favorite), HolidayInsights or TimeandDate. If you have another reference source, feel free to use it. Choose any 3 holidays or commemorative weeks/months, and create 3 different ATCs that celebrate the weirdness.

    Requirements

    · Send 3 different cards.
    · Your name, user name, swap name, location on the back of each card
    · Cards must be ATCs (not APCs).

    Media

    All media are welcome, except for digital or photography. Please keep cards flat. No bulky embellishments!

    Mailing

    · Do not send envelopes. I will provide them.
    · Include a large self-addressed label.
    · PM me for my address when you are ready to mail. My North Babylon, NY, address is correct.

    Postage

    U.S. players: Please include one forever stamp.
    International players: Please include one U.S. global forever stamp or $1. I can also accept PayPal; please contact me for my email address.

    Deadlines/iTrader

    Cards must be received by Nov. 30, 2021. Please allow sufficient transit time.

    A host card is appreciated, but in no way required. If I’ve missed anything here, please PM me.

    I like that origami pinwheel card for the same reason Heather! I didn’t know 5 was your favorite number! I don’t think I have one. Hmmmm…..

    I have liked the number 5 since I was a child. I can remember loving that number.

    I also have this thing in my brain, nothing serious, but called

    Grapheme–color synaesthesia or colored grapheme synesthesia is a form of synesthesia in which an individual's perception of numerals and letters is associated with the experience of colors. ... It has been found that grapheme–color synesthetes have more grey matter in their brain. YEAH ME!

As you can read in the wiki page, most people dont even realize that they have this, because it is normal to them, and they think everyone sees numbers and letters. BTW my hubby does not have it but 2 of my kids do. In fact it was my oldest birth son who told me about it. I was shocked. They believe is sex trait genetic on the mother's side.

    That’s fascinating! I’ve hear some people have associations like that but I’ve never known anyone that did! Cool Heather! What color is 5?
