    This swap has to do with all the little, magical people in Fantasy Land. You can use fairies, dwarves, elves, goblins, trolls, orcs, gnomes, hobbits, wizards, witches and/or any other little creatures you can think of. EACH ATC MUST DEPICT A DIFFERENT SPECIES. So no three of just one creature. You can use a fairy/hobbit/witch but not three ATCs of just fairies. If you are not sure about using a certain creature then please email me first so we can talk it over. I'll see what we can do!!

    MAKE EACH ATC DIFFERENT. Please do not use embellishments that will make your ATCs extra thick or bumpy. For instance, no googly eyes or anything that the mail machine can eat easily. Will try to trade effort for effort.

    Late cards will be returned to the artist and neutral I-Trader given. Lack of communication and lack of ATCs will result in Neutral I-Trader given. Please, please communicate. US SWAPPERS: please send a SASE. Postage will be whatever it cost you to send it to me. INTERNATIONAL SWAPPERS; I will cover postage for International participants; and please remember to send a self addressed envelope with your name on both envelopes for me to return your swaps in. EVERYONE: Please label all your envelopes with your user name & swap name. Place each ATC in a plastic sleeve. An extra ATC on the subject would be greatly appreciated but is not mandatory. Please feel free to post your ATCs to the thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me a PM or ask in the thread. Please PM when you are ready for my address. Most international mail will take anywhere from one to two weeks to arrive in WA. Please plan accordingly. On that same note; most mail here in the US can take anywhere from two days up to 10 days so please don't wait until the last minute to send your ATCS.

    Players, when you have received your return ATCs for the swap; please remember to leave I-Trader for the host (me, Ferretgirl) & You Rock points for your fellow artists that you received cards from. I will have all players linked to their first post so that leaving You Rock points will be a breeze. I will leave I-Trader points for you as soon as I receive (on time) your swaps. Once again, please PM me with any questions you may have.

    It appears that "little" people does not really mean "little" as in small or tiny,
    I would go along with the fairies, elves, gnomes, dwarves (and add leprechauns and Thumbelina)
    but witches, wizards, hobbits and trolls?????

    So is this is a fantasy species or mythical creature swap?
    Do merfolk qualify? I am assuming medusa, and the minotaur do not qualify?

    Please sign me up.
    I'll figure it out, or you will straighten me out.......

    Welcome misschrisc & Vicki Z. Well, as you would know, I could not think of a suitable title for this swap. Maybe Little People is not the best description. I am willing to change it if someone can come up with an all encompassing name?? It is more of a fantasy species. I am not particularly looking for mythical creatures at this time. Could save that for a future swap. Merfolk would be fine. Ha Ha Ha No wonder my hubby gave me a funny look when I told him I was adding orcas to the swap.... Let me know what you two think about a new name for the swap, okay?
     
    Hi jaw, Lurkers are always welcome. What do you think about the title? Did it mean to you what I posted?
     
    "Little People" to me says: leprechauns, fairies, elves, gnomes, dwarves (smaller than human, and magical/mystical) ... :)
     
    Lurking. . ."little people" says "small" to me--I wouldn't have thought of witches, orcs, etc.
     
    I guess I could have put "Little/Magical People". Does that sound better suited? Thanks for letting me know, goatgirl.

    Vicki, Got your Little People in the mail yesterday. Nice job & I need to wait a few hours to put your next ITrader in. If I forget; leave me a note but I don't think I will.... Oh & thank you for the extra....
     
    I know, my title is totally mis-leading in more ways than one but I couldn't think of a better one at the time. I have health conditions that affect my memory & also my concentration so I just try to do the best I can=) If everyone that sees it hates it I can try to change it to something more appropriate? Let me know what you guys think..

    I'm still lurking, cuz I haven't done anything with my collage lately .. so will need to play for a bit before committing. Don't worry about it! Be happy... dance a little, sing a little ... and play with your art supplies! :jiggy:
